Since our founding in 1981, OMC Engineered Solutions has grown into a trusted engineering partner supporting complex industrial projects in Ireland and internationally.
While our mastery of stainless steel remains our foundation, our expertise now spans the entire project life cycle – from digital design and modular assembly to specialist surface chemistry – serving the global Life Sciences, Construction, and Technology sectors.
Four Decades of Excellence
1981
The Foundation
OMC Group was established as a family-owned engineering business specialising in stainless steel fabrication and metalwork for the Irish construction and industrial sectors.
1980s–1990’s
Building Core Expertise
The company developed a strong reputation in stainless steel fabrication, architectural metalwork and industrial engineering, expanding operations across Ireland and into the UK and European markets.
2000’s
Expansion into Specialist Industries
OMC diversified into high-specification sectors including pharmaceutical, biomedical, food processing and cleanroom manufacturing. During this period, the company also introduced advanced services such as electropolishing, passivation and full product traceability.
2010’s
Investment, Quality & Growth
Significant investment was made in advanced manufacturing capabilities, including 3D design, laser cutting, electropolishing facilities and cleanroom furniture manufacturing. During this period, OMC also achieved internationally recognised quality, environmental and safety certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, reinforcing the company’s commitment to quality standards and continuous improvement.
2020–2022
Major International Projects
OMC delivered work on several major pharmaceutical and industrial projects, including Intel Fab 34, MSD Swords, Fujifilm Diosynth Denmark and Bristol Myers Squibb facilities across Europe.
2023
Major Expansion & Leadership Transition
The company announced a €4 million investment, including a new 30,000 sq. ft. fabrication facility and the creation of 40 new jobs. This period also marked the transition to second-generation leadership, with Padraic Comerford appointed Managing Director.
2024–2025
Sustainability & Continued Development
OMC continued to invest in sustainability initiatives, carbon mapping and manufacturing efficiency while further strengthening its presence across European markets. The company also celebrated more than 40 years in business as one of Ireland’s leading engineering and stainless steel solutions providers.
2026

OMC Technologies rebrands to OMC Engineered Solutions, representing our continued growth, innovation, and customer-focused approach.
