Context
OMC partnered with BAM Construction on the New Children’s Hospital in Dublin – one of Europe’s largest and most complex healthcare projects. Appointed during the pre-construction stage, OMC invested heavily in the project over a lengthy design development period, working alongside BAM to shape practical, deliverable solutions. This early commitment- well ahead of site mobilisation- allowed the project to progress with confidence, supported by a partner capable of sustaining early-stage investment on a project of exceptional scale and complexity.
OMC Approach
OMC operated as an embedded delivery partner, working across contractors, specialist suppliers and client teams. The scope included bespoke architectural metalwork requiring prototype development, Specialist equipment, precision fabrication and complex installation within a live construction environment. OMC mobilised experienced site teams and managed interfaces across disciplines, ensuring efficient execution. Health and safety was fundamental to delivery, with OMC enforcing rigorous standards, conducting its own audits and embedding a strong, aligned safety culture across all site teams and stakeholders.
