Surface Treatment Services
Degreasing & Passivation
A two-stage chemical process where degreasing extracts manufacturing oils and contaminants to clean the pipe, followed by passivation to restore the protective chromium-oxide layer.
Electropolishing & Mechanical Polishing
Provide electropolishing in Ireland’s largest specialised baths for ultra-smooth finishes and mechanical polishing to achieve precise surface roughness (Ra) values.
Derouging
A specialist maintenance treatment performed during system cycles or shutdowns to remove iron oxide “rouge” and return the stainless steel to its original passive state.
Descaling
Removing oxide scale (from heat/welding) using mechanical or chemical methods.
Sanitisation
A targeted chemical cleaning process designed to remove mineral deposits and scale from internal pipework and vessels to maintain optimum system flow and hygiene.
Oxygen Cleaning
The meticulous removal of combustible contaminants and residues from components to ensure they meet the stringent safety requirements for high-purity oxygen systems.
Pickling
An in-house chemical treatment that removes high-temperature scale and weld-related discolouration, ensuring a uniform, clean, and corrosion-resistant finish.
Chemical Cleaning
A dedicated process for carbon pipework systems that utilises specific chemical flushes to ensure internal purity and the removal of post-fabrication debris.
Air Blowdowns
Often incorporated into the degreasing and passivation process, or used with oxygen lines to blow out particles.
Pre-Operational Flush Cleaning
Remove contaminants from the internal surfaces of newly installed or refurbished closed-circuit pipework systems before they are officially commissioned.

We handle the largest components in Ireland, eliminating logistical bottlenecks. Our facilities feature a high-volume RO skid, steam boiler, and ultrasonic baths for superior particulate removal.
We offer in-house mechanical finishing to specific Ra values and use OFDA compressors and specialist ovens to ensure moisture-free delivery for cleanroom integration.
For pharmaceutical and high-tech clients, finish quality requires rigorous documentation. Every project features a Digital Handover Pack linked to our TEC numbering system.
We provide technical validation through flow rates, chemical certs, and Ferroxyl tests. Supported by video borescope inspections, our digital “Data Books” ensure transparent, ASTM-compliant traceability for site handover.
